THE college dual meet season was in full swing last weekend, with two well-known swimmers racing for the first time this season. Chase Kalisz represented the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday in his first meet after having to stay in Baltimore in the fall to clear up academic eligibility issues. Kalisz won the 200 fly, 200 breast and 200 IM in a tri-meet against North Carolina State and Savannah College of Art and Design. Allison Schmitt only took on relay duty Saturday, while Hali Flickinger was the standout in the women&#039;s meet with wins in the 100 and 200 fly as well as the 200 backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>Felicia Lee also made her season debut Saturday in Stanford&#039;s dual meet against Pacific. Lee sat out the fall part of the season to recover from shoulder surgery, and came back in a big way, winning the 100 backstroke with a 53.92.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday&#039;s Streamlined News we told you about an anticipated matchup in the Division II dual meet against Grand Canyon University and UC-San Diego. Eetu Karvonen and Nick Korth, two people expected to contend for the NCAA title in the 200 breast in March, raced that event on Saturday, with Karvonen blitzing the field with a 1:59.91 to Korth&#039;s 2:04.05.
