She recorded two personal bests at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals in March where she finaled in the 200 fly and 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Also representing Campolindo High School, Follmer qualified for the CIF State meet as a junior where she\u00a0competed in the 100 back (57.11) and 100 fly (57.73). At the CIF North Coast Section Championships a week prior, she placed fourth in the 100 back (56.49) and ninth in the 100 fly (56.31).<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Northwestern University! Thank you to my coaches, Ronnie &amp; Donnie, for helping to make my dream a reality. Thanks also to my family and friends for your support. I can&#8217;t wait to be a Wildcat and swim for Coaches Jeremy, Katie, Meghan, Jake and Andrew! Go &#8216;Cats!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 56.49<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:01.83<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:08.93<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:30.68<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 56.29<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 2:07.98<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Follmer will add more depth to the Wildcats&#8217; lineup when she arrives on campus for the 2019-20 season.
