She concluded her long course season at YMCA LCM Nationals where she achieved six new personal bests and was a two-time finalist. She also had a strong showing at YMCA Nationals in April, setting eight lifetime bests and qualifying for three finals.<\/p>\n<p>Moellering also swims for Saint Ursula Academy and is a four-time Ohio State Championship finalist.\u00a0The NISCA All-American placed seventh in the 500 free (5:00.48) and ninth in the 100 fly (55.43) at the State meet as a junior.\u00a0During her sophomore campaign, she finished fourth in the 500 (4:57.66).<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;I chose Ohio State because of the incredible program and academics. The state of the art facilities and top tier coaching staff made it an easy decision. I immediately fell in love with the team spirit and supportive atmosphere, and I know I will be able to succeed in and out of the water. Can&#8217;t wait to be a part of the Buckeye family!&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 54.80<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 2:01.33<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:22.11<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 56.86<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:04.18<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 23.54<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 51.36<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:49.28<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:56.66<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 10:05.42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Moellering&#8217;s versatility will bode well for the Buckeyes when she arrives on campus for the 2019-20 season and she could see action in a number of different events.
