Representing Bishop Fenwick High School, Lumino was a four-time finalist at the Massachusetts D2 State Championships during her freshman and sophomore years.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #3131cc;\"><strong>&#8220;I am proud to announce my commitment to Assumption College in the fall of 2019! The second I stood on the Assumption campus, I knew it was the place for me to grow academically and raise my swimming to the next level. The feeling I experienced, being welcomed into the Assumption family by Coach Stuart and the swim team was incomparable. Thank you to my family, teammates and especially my coaches who pushed me to where I am today. Go Hounds!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:06.74<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:24.96<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 58.64<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:07.78<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:28.39<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 24.71<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lumino&#8217;s versatility will be extremely beneficial for the Greyhounds next fall. She recently competed at the Connecticut Swimming Senior LCM Championships and recorded two new best times.\u00a0Somody also swims for Westhill High School where she was a finalist in the 100 back as a junior.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>\u201cI am excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim for Assumption College. As soon as I stepped on campus, I knew this was the school for me both academically and athletically. I know that I will continue to grow as a student-athlete at Assumption. Her best 100 back time would&#8217;ve been the second fastest on Assumption&#8217;s roster last season.
