Women's 200 back<\/b>
\nCrow Canyon's Madison White raced to the top time in the morning with a 1:56.71. She's been much faster with a 1:55.03 on her resume from 2009, but will need more than that to track down Courtney Bartholomew's meet record of 1:53.16 from 2010. Raleigh's Hannah Moore touched second in 1:57.04, while Lakeside's Asia Seidt qualified third in 1:57.75. <\/p>\n
SwimMAC's Kathleen Baker (1:58.12), Carmel's Claire Adams (1:58.41), AK Shark Clara Smiddy (1:58.42), Carmel's Hanna House (1:58.92) and Jeffco's Alex Malazdrewicz (1:59.08) completed the rest of the top eight. <\/p>\n

\nColorado-based swimmers did well in the morning with Hennessey Stuart leading the way with a 1:44.09 and DU Hilltopper Carter Griffin posting a second-seeded time of 1:44.86. Stuart dropped four seconds from his lifetime best of 1:48.45 from the Minneapolis Grand Prix a month ago. Griffin cut two seconds off his personal best of 1:46.00 from last month at the Pioneer Open. <\/p>\n
North Texas' Aaron Greene (1:45.00), SwimMAC's John Manchester (1:46.08), Mobile's William Glass (1:46.49), Mount Pleasant's Zach Lierley (1:46.49), Palo Alto's Curtis Ogren (1:46.84) and Sean Lehane (1:46.87) also earned spots into the championship heat.<\/p>\n
Women's 100 free<\/b>
\nOrange County's Lindsey Engel, who wowed the crowd on day one with a 22.24 to win the 50 free, topped qualifying in the 100 this morning with a 50.10. She is going to need more than her lifetime best of 49.37 from May 2011 if she wants to take down Samantha Tucker's meet record of 48.71 from back in 2008. SwimMAC's Lauren Rhodes (50.22) and Santa Clara's Catherine Ladd (50.24) finished second and third with Osprey's Linnea Mack checking in a close fourth with a 50.26.<\/p>\n
Rancho San Dieguito's Rochelle Dong (50.27), SwimMAC's Kathleen Baker (50.42), North Mecklenburg's Emily Allen (50.42) and Scottsdale's Victoria Toris (50.47) also found their way into the A final this evening. <\/p>\n
Men's 100 free<\/b>
\nBolles' Santo Condorelli buzzed the tower on the meet record in the event with a 43.77 in prelims. That swim is just a half-second off Vlad Morozov's 2009 mark of 43.27. Condorelli definitely has more in the tank, as his personal best is a 43.47 relay leadoff from the Florida High School State Championships last month. Davie Nadadores' Dylan Carter, who doubled up last night, qualified second in 44.30, while Bolles' Caeleb Dressel earned third in 44.49.<\/p>\n
Crow Canyon's David Morgan (44.77), North Texas' Brett Ringgold (44.77), Metro Aquatic's Julian Ballestas (44.96), Northern Dutchess' Julian Mackrel (44.98) and High Tide's Wesley Olmstead (45.14) rounded out the top eight from prelims. <\/p>\n
Women's 200 breast<\/b>
\nLakeside's Peyton Greenberg raced her way into the top seed this evening with a time of 2:14.98. That performance chopped more than four seconds off her lifetime best of 2:19.36 set at the 2011 NCSA Junior Nationals. She still has another five seconds to take down the meet record of 2:10.03 set by Mary Olsen of Sun Devil in 2010. Neptune's Taylor Young (2:15.73) and Sandpipers' Isabella Goldsmith (2:16.00) completed the top three seeds.<\/p>\n
Ozaukee's Katherine Drabot (2:16.30), Brea's Ashley Tse (2:16.33), Rancho San Dieguito's Sherri McIntee (2:16.39), Crow Canyon's Heidi Poppe (2:16.41) and Frisco's Destiny Nelson (2:16.94) snared the rest of the transfer spots into the big final tonight. <\/p>\n

\nOrinda's Steven Stumph dominated the morning session with a 1:57.42, just off his lifetime best of 1:57.00 from May of this year, and a second off Cody Miller's meet record of 1:56.46 from 2008. Palto Alto's Curtis Ogren qualified well back with a second-seeded 2:00.40, while Loveland's Nicolas Hatanaka placed third in 2:00.76.<\/p>\n
The Dolphins' Cole Hurwitz (2:00.85), Davis Aquadarts' Matt Whittle (2:01.02), Powel Crosley's Jonathan Rutter (2:01.16), Mobile's Marlin Brutkiewicz (2:01.46) and Hudson Explorer's Ross Palazzo (2:01.67) qualified fourth through eighth in the preliminary heats. <\/p>\n
Women's 200 fly<\/b>
\nSandpipers' Olivia Barker just missed the meet record in the event with a sterling 1:56.17. That swim came up short of Tanja Kylliainen's 2010 record of 1:56.01 and beat Barker's lifetime best of 1:56.58 from sectionals last December. Mount Pleasant's Megan Kingsley touched second in 1:56.34, also within striking distance of the meet record, while cutting two seconds from her personal best of 1:58.30 from February's short course state championships. <\/p>\n
Kingfish's Madison Wright (1:57.53), SwimMAC's Caitlin Casazza (1:59.06), Parkway's Heather Lundstrom (1:59.21), Metro's Isabella Paez (1:59.40), Firestone's Katelyn Miller (1:59.79) and Conejo's Anna Quinn (2:00.78) rounded out the championship field. <\/p>\n

\nNashville's David Charles topped qualifying with a time of 1:47.41, while Parkway's Nickolaus Orf touched second in 1:47.83. Stingrays' James Yoder picked up the third seed with a 1:48.14. Dayton Raiders' Josh Quallen (1:48.42), Memphis' Pace Clark (1:48.61) and Joseph Carbone (1:49.69) qualified fourth through sixth.<\/p>\n
A day after breaking the meet record in the 100 fly, Bolles' Joseph Schooling was back at it with a 1:49.82 to squeak into finals in the 200. He has way more potential in the event this evening, with a lifetime best of 1:45.08 from last year's Junior Nationals, which would put him just half-a-second off William Hamilton's meet record of 1:44.46.
