She just wrapped up a successful long course season, notching four new best times between Futures Championships in Richmond and the TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus. She has continuously dropped a significant amount of time each season across all events.<\/p>\n<p>In high school swimming, Gable competes for Arcanum and was the runner-up in the 200 free (1:48.93) and took fourth in the 100 back (56.09) at the 2018 Ohio State Championships. She took third in the 200 free (1:51.34) and seventh in the 500 free (5:05.40) during her sophomore campaign.<\/p>\n<p>She told <em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>&#8220;I\u2019m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Tennessee!! I\u2019d like to thank my friends &amp; family for their support, the teammates who taught me the importance of having fun, and all the amazing swimmers and coaches I\u2019ve met &amp; built relationships with along the way. All the glory to God, go Vols!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:47.63<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 50.71<\/li>\n<li>50 free \u2013 23.91<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:55.04<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 2:04.17<\/li>\n<li>400 IM \u2013 4:24.73<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 55.43<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:59.37<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gable can be used in a number of events when she arrives in Knoxville for the 2019-20 season.
