At the Cary Futures Championships this past summer, she was the gold medalist in the 50m free with a lifetime best of 26.15.<\/p>\n<p>Jerew was a seven-time finalist at the Florida Gold Coast Senior Championships in March.\u00a0She also swims for Cutler Bay High school and finished ninth in the 100 breast (1:06.47) at the FHSAA 1A Championships as a junior. She placed eighth in the 50 free (24.14) as a sophomore.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>&#8220;I am super excited to announce my commitment to swim and study at Florida Gulf Coast University! Beyond stoked to further my academic career and better myself in and out of the pool surrounded by the best coaches and group of girls! Go eagles!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:03.99<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:23.60<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 23.54<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 52.50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jerew will be valuable in sprints and breaststroke when she arrives in Fort Myers in the fall of 2019. She will join top returning breaststrokers\u00a0<strong>Petra Halmai\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Lizzy White\u00a0<\/strong>and will have two years of overlap with\u00a0<strong>Rebecca Moynihan<\/strong> who finished fourth in the 50 free at the 2018 CCSA Championships.
