In a report that appeared online in the local news outlet\u00a0<em>Fox 8,\u00a0<\/em>the GAC&#8217;s continued success necessitated the construction of an additional pool.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver $150 million that has been generated from the outside meets that we\u2019ve brought to Greensboro at the aquatic center,\u201d said GAC Complex Director\u00a0<strong>Matt Brown<\/strong>, which he notes has &#8220;by far&#8221; paid for the cost of building the aquatic center.<\/p>\n<p>According the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greensboroaquaticcenter.com\/4th-pool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GAC website<\/a>, the fourth pool will be another 50-meter pool that will add 19 short course lanes and 8 long course lanes and will be attached to the current facility.
