She has made significant improvements over the last three years, dropping 15 seconds in her 100 breast and 21 seconds in the 200. She competed at the Futures Championships in Santa Clara and wrapped up her long course season with four new best times.<\/p>\n<p>Woolfenden spent her freshman and sophomore years at Arnold O. Beckman High School, breaking the school record in the 100 breast (1:04.82). The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and NISCA All-American currently represents Santa Margarita Catholic High School. As a junior, she finished 13<sup>th<\/sup> in the 100 breast (1:03.86) at the 2018 CIF State Championships a week after placing third in the same event (1:03.18) at the CIF-Southern Section Division I meet.<\/p>\n<p>She told <em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cI am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the United States Air Force Academy to pursue my athletic and academic career and the opportunity to serve my country. I would like to thank Coach Colleen Murphy and Coach Athena Miller for guiding me through this journey. I would like to also thank my high school and club coaches. I\u2019m extremely grateful for my family and friends who have always supported me. I cannot wait to join the USAFA class of 2023. Go Falcons!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 1:03.18<\/li>\n<li>200 breast \u2013 2:19.33<\/li>\n<li>50 free \u2013 24.14<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 54.22<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Woolfenden will make an immediate impact when she arrives on campus for the 2019-20 season and will add much-needed depth to Air Force\u2019s breaststroke group.
