After setting the World Cup record in the 50 free on Friday, he added another World Cup record in the 50 backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>Morozov, from Russia, won the event in 24.43 to break the World Cup record of 24.58, set by <strong>David Plummer<\/strong> of the U.S. in 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> of the U.S. finished second in 24.49, also going faster than the previous record set by Plummer.<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s <strong>Mitch Larkin<\/strong> took third in 25.35, followed by <strong>Jesse Puts<\/strong> of the Netherlands (25.45).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_328149\" up another World Cup victory on Saturday, winning the 200 free.<\/p>\n<p>Sjostrom led from the opening turn and cruised to victory in 1:55.98.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> of the Netherlands was second in 1:56.89, the only other competitor to break 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary\u2019s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong>, coming off of a win in the 400 IM a half hour earlier, minutes removed from finishing third in the 50 back, reached the top podium in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Larkin won the event in 1:59.47, the only man in the field to break 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary\u2019s <strong>David Verraszto<\/strong> finished second in 2:01.40, while <strong>Nikolay Sokolov<\/strong> finished third in 2:03.33.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_328155\" Cup victory on Saturday. He cruised to victory in 26.90 \u2014\u00a016 hundredths away from the World Cup record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kirill Prigoda<\/strong> finished second in 27.24, followed closely by <strong>Michael the 50 fly.<\/p>\n<p>Sjostrom, who won the 200 free earlier in the day, won the 50 fly in 25.39, beating the old World Cup record set by Denmark\u2019s <strong>Jeanette Ottesen<\/strong> in 2015 (25.51).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of the Netherlands had a strong race, too, finishing second in 26.09.<\/p>\n<p>Belgium\u2019s <strong>Kimberly Buys<\/strong> was third in
