At the 2018 USA Swimming Futures Championships in Santa Clara, Snyder placed\u00a0first in the 50m free (26.26), 100m free (56.99) and secured the runner-up spot in the 200m free\u00a0(2:04.65).<\/p>\n<p>Also representing Henry M. Gunn High School, Snyder took ninth in the 200 free (1:49.09) at the CIF State Championships as a junior after placing third in a personal-best 1:48.34 at the Central Coast Section Championships.\u00a0The two-time NISCA All-American also qualified for the state meet during both her freshman and sophomore campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>&#8220;Super duperrr excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim at Duke University in the class of 2023! Shoutout to all the friends, teammates, coaches, family and teachers that supported and help me along the way, I couldn&#8217;t have gotten here without you. I can&#8217;t wait to become a Blue Devil! Go Duke!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 23.26<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 50.30<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:48.34<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 54.94<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Snyder will be a huge asset to the Blue Devils&#8217; lineup when she arrives on campus for the 2019-20 season.
