Sweden\u2019s Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> continued her dominating sprinting by setting a World Cup record in the women\u2019s 50 free.<\/p>\n

Sjostrom finished in 23.83, breaking the World Cup record set by Cate Campbell (24.30) in 2015.<\/p>\n

Spots 2-3 went to the Netherlands as Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> finished second in 24.55, followed by Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> (24.64).<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s Mariia Kameneva<\/strong> was fourth (24.68), followed by Kim Busch<\/strong> of the Netherlands (24.96), Switzerland\u2019s Alexandra Touretski<\/strong> (25.21), Hungary\u2019s Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> (25.28), competing in her fourth race of the day, and Arina<\/strong> Surkova<\/strong> (25.39).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
