Some notes on the schedule:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Wolverines open the season <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723238\"><span class=\"aQJ\">in three weeks<\/span><\/span>, hosting Oakland and Miami University (men only) on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723239\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sept. 28-29<\/span><\/span>. <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723240\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday&#8217;s<\/span><\/span> portion will be a normal dual meet, while <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723241\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday<\/span><\/span> is slated to be relay-only. The team will also spend <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723242\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday<\/span><\/span> raising awareness for juvenile diabetes and JDRF. More details on the meet&#8217;s format will be released as the date draws nearer.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Michigan also will host Northwestern for a two-day dual meet on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723243\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Oct. 19-20<\/span><\/span>. Following a two-day tri-meet with Iowa and Denver in Iowa City (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723244\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 2-3<\/span><\/span>), the Wolverines wraps up the fall at the UGA Invitational (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723245\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 29-Dec. 1<\/span><\/span>) in Athens, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Select swimmers and divers will represent Michigan at the Big Ten\/ACC Swimming &amp; Diving Challenge, set for <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723246\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 10-11<\/span><\/span> in West Lafayette, Indiana. <strong>Mike Bottom<dfn><\/dfn> <\/strong>is serving as head coach for the Big Ten&#8217;s women&#8217;s team.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Rivalries will be renewed this winter. The Wolverines will face Indiana (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723247\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 17<\/span><\/span> in Bloomington, Indiana), Ohio State (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723248\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 19<\/span><\/span> at Canham Natatorium; Senior Day) and Michigan State (<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723249\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 8<\/span><\/span> in East Lansing, Michigan).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Big Ten Championships will be held <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723250\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 20-23<\/span><\/span> in Bloomington, Indiana (women) and <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723251\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 27-March 2<\/span><\/span> in Iowa City, Iowa (men). The NCAA Zone C Diving Championships &#8212; the meet that determines which divers will attend the NCAA Championships &#8212; will take place <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_679723252\"><span class=\"aQJ\">March 14-16<\/span><\/span> in West Lafayette, Indiana.
