He was also a coach with the Marlins of Raleigh.\u00a0Walkotten&#8217;s coaching biography has been removed from the Marlins&#8217; site. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs17.com\/news\/local-news\/wake-county-news\/raleigh-swim-coach-charged-with-child-sex-crimes\/1376584648\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cbs17.com<\/a>\u00a0reports that he was fired on August 2.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his time at MOR (which began in August 2015 according to his Linkedin account) Walkotten spent a season coaching\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/uncwsports.com\/news\/2014\/8\/28\/MSWIM_0828141502.aspx?path=mswim\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at UNC-Wilmington<\/a>. Before his stint at UNC-W Walkotten had coached at the YMCA of the Triangle Area for four years.<\/p>\n<p>Walkotten is being held under $2 million bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on
