﻿{"id":325310,"date":"2018-08-11T13:00:25","date_gmt":"2018-08-11T20:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=325310"},"modified":"2018-08-11T12:00:28","modified_gmt":"2018-08-11T19:00:28","slug":"duke-men-add-eight-new-men-for-2018-19-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/duke-men-add-eight-new-men-for-2018-19-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Duke Men Add Eight New Men For 2018-19 Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Duke men\u2019s swimming and diving program will welcome eight student-athletes to campus ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incoming class includes <strong>Cole Reznick<\/strong> and <strong>Henry Wu<\/strong> of California, <strong>Harel Anolick<\/strong> of Illinois, <strong>John Day<\/strong> and <strong>Colson Zucker<\/strong> of North Carolina, <strong>David Hallaron<\/strong> of Texas, <strong>Matthew Whelan<\/strong> of Virginia and <strong>Everett Werner<\/strong> of Washington.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is a very young class, but one that has made tremendous strides forward,\u201d said head coach\u00a0<strong>Dan Colella<\/strong>. \u201cWe have nationals qualifiers and junior nationals finalists coming in from all over the country. They are versatile in their events and experiences. They\u2019re a group that\u2019s going to come in, get some different training and just continue to develop. We graduated a smaller class in May, so this group will add to our men\u2019s team\u2019s depth in both dual meets and in championship scoring.
