Anderson, 17, delivered a split of 1:56.00, the fastest in the race, to come from behind, pass France and hold off a strong charge from Germany to take gold.<\/p>\n<p>The British team of\u00a0<strong>Eleanor Faulkner<\/strong> (1:59.25),\u00a0<strong>Kathryn Greenslade<\/strong> (1:57.94),\u00a0<strong>Holly Hibbott\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.45)and Anderson combined to swim a time of 7:51.65.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Valeriia Salamantina<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Anna Egorova<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Arina Openysheva<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Anastasia Guzhenkova<\/strong> finished second in 7:52.87. Bronze went to the German team of\u00a0<strong>Reva Foos<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Isabel Marie Gose<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sarah Koelher<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Anika Bruhn<\/strong> in 7:53.76.<\/p>\n<p>France, with 200 free European champion\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Bonnet\u00a0<\/strong>swimming the second leg, ended up fading to fourth in 7:53.86.
