Peaty&#8217;s time broke his own championship record of 26.50 set in the morning prelims.<\/p>\n<p>Peaty&#8217;s time is the fourth-fastest performance in history, and no other man has ever been quicker.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fabio Scozzoli<\/strong> qualified second in 26.80, and Serbia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caba Siladji<\/strong> also broke 27 with a 26.99. Slovenia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Peter John Stevens\u00a0<\/strong>qualified fourth in 27.08.<\/p>\n<p>Other finalists will include Belarus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Ilya Shymanovich<\/strong> (27.09), the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Ties Elzerman\u00a0<\/strong>(27.15), Germany&#8217;s <strong>Fabien Schwingenschlogl<\/strong> (27.16) and Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kirill Prigoda\u00a0<\/strong>(27.17).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"324297\"
