Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alys Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>qualified second in 2:07.64, good for the second seed. Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Boglarka Kapas\u00a0<\/strong>was just behind in 2:07.75.<\/p>\n<p>It took under 2:09 to get into the final, and the other five qualifiers all finished within a half-second of each other.
