Efimova swam a time of 1:05.53, breaking her own championship record of 1:05.87 set in the semi-finals. However, she was well short of her world No. 1-ranked time of 1:04.98 from June.<\/p>\n<p>Meilutyte, the 2012 Olympic gold medalist in the event, claimed second in 1:06.26, and the bronze went to Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Arianna Castiglioni\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:06.54.<\/p>\n<p>Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessica Vall Montero\u00a0<\/strong>finished fourth in 1:06.98, followed by Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Siobhan-Marie O&#8217;Connor<\/strong> (1:07.30), Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marina Garcia Urzainqui<\/strong> (1:07.55), Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Martina Carraro\u00a0<\/strong>(1:07.59) and Sweden&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sophie Hansson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:07.67).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"323904\"
