Miressi topped Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Duncan Scott<\/strong>, who grabbed the silver medal in 48.23, as well as French bronze medalist\u00a0<strong>Mehdy Metella\u00a0<\/strong>(48.24).<\/p>\n<p>Missing from the final was the No. 1-ranked swimmer in the world, Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong>. Morozov has been as quick as 47.75 this year, but he missed the semi-finals in the event after two Russians qualified ahead of him.
