She dropped 2.39 seconds from her prelims seed time of 2:18.12 and moved up from her second place seed.<\/p>\nOlivia Grossklaus\u00a0<\/strong>of Mesa Aquatics finished second at 2:16.16, finishing about a second ahead of the third place finisher. She dropped 1.62 seconds from her seed prelims times of 2:17.78, but lost her first place seed position to Halsted.<\/p>\nLa Mirada’s\u00a0Maelynn Lawrence\u00a0<\/strong>came in third, holding her prelims seed position with a time of 2:17.14. She dropped 1.78 seconds from her prelims time of 2:18.92.<\/p>\nMen’s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n
Cristofer Gore\u00a0<\/strong>of Life Time Northern Calif. took first with a time of 2:04.63, finishing about two seconds ahead of the rest of his heat. He dropped 1.97 seconds from his prelims time of 2:06.60 and moved up two spots from his third place seed.<\/p>\nSocal Aquatic’s\u00a0Tonahauc Zinn<\/strong> took second with a time of 2:06.00, dropping .28 from his seed of 2:06.28. He held his prelims seed of second and finished a half second before the third place finisher.<\/p>\nAdityasth Wratsangka\u00a0<\/strong>of Fusion Aquatics placed third with a time of 2:06.51, out touching first seed Alexander Gilchrist<\/strong>.\u00a0Wratsangka took .47 off from his prelims time of 2:06.98 and moved up a place from his preliminary seeding of third.<\/p>\nWomen’s 50 Free<\/h3>\n
Sarah Snyder\u00a0<\/strong>of Palo Alto Stanford took first in the event with a time of 26.26, dropping .55 from her prelims time of 26.81. Snyder defended her first place seed while also touching .35 ahead of the rest of her heat.<\/p>\nElizabeth Menzmer\u00a0<\/strong>of Spare Time Aquatics places second with a 26.61, out touching third place finisher\u00a0Colette<\/strong>\u00a0Berkenfield\u00a0<\/strong>by .13. Menzmer dropped .38 from her prelims time of 26.99, moving up two spots from her prior fourth place seed.<\/p>\nNorth Bay’s Berkenfield placed third with a 26.74, dropping .30 from her prelims time of 27.04. She moved up three spots from her prior seed of sixth and out touched the fourth place finisher by .02.<\/p>\n
Men’s 50 Free<\/h3>\n
Miles Mackenzie<\/strong>\u00a0of Tiger Aquatics\u00a0took first in the event with a time of 23.13, dropping .58 from his prelims time of 23.71. Mackenzie moved up one spot from his prelims seed of second.<\/p>\nAlso of Tiger Aquatics,\u00a0Lane Goedhart<\/strong> finished second with a time of 23.60. Goedhart dropped .07 from his prelims time of 23.67, but dropped a place from his seed of first. He out touched third place finisher\u00a0Keegan Bundy\u00a0<\/strong>by .01.<\/p>\nThe unattached Bundy finished third with a time of 23.61, only .01 slower than Goedhart. Bundy dropped .31 seconds from his prelims time of 23.92, moving up five places from his prior seed of eigth.<\/p>\n
Women’s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n
13-year-old\u00a0Zoey Zeller\u00a0<\/strong>of Santa Clara Swim Club won the event with a 2:36.68, out touching both second place finisher\u00a0Ana Adame\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0third place finisher\u00a0Nada Bouraoui<\/strong>. Zeller dropped 2.17 seconds from her seed time of 2:38.85 and moved up five places from her sixth place seed.<\/p>\nCanyons Aquatic Club’s Adame placed second in a tight race with a time of 2.36.72. She dropped .58 from her prelims time of 2:37.30 and moved up one spot from her third place seed.<\/p>\n
Bouraoui, also of Santa Clara, placed third with a time of 2:36.88, gaining .20 from her prelims time of 2:36.68. She dropped two places from her prior seed of first.<\/p>\n
Men’s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n
Parker Macy<\/strong>\u00a0of the Mission Viejo Nadadores won the event with a time of 2:21.63, dropping 2.27 seconds from his prelims time of 2:23.90. He moved up three spots from his prior seed of fourth.<\/p>\nBrett Champlin\u00a0<\/strong>of the Hillsboro Swim Team placed second with a time of 2:22.42, out touching the third place finisher. He dropped 1.15 seconds from his prelims time of 2:23.57 and held his second place seed.<\/p>\nTualatin Hills’\u00a0Marco Nosack\u00a0<\/strong>finished third with a 2:22.56, dropping about two seconds from his prelims time of 2:24.48.
