KELSEY Forbord (Fr., Olympia, Wash.) is the new WSCU record holder for the fastest time in the women&#039;s 100 backstroke.  The freshman broke the record in the fourth event of the night with a time of 1:02.75.  Stringer was the previous record holder with a time of 1:09.20. <\/p>\n<p>Despite Forbord&#039;s tremendous performance the Adams State team defeated the Mountaineers in the first meet for WSCU since 1984.  In the packed WSCU Natatorium, the Mountaineers put forth a valiant effort in their first meet.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I thought the meet went well,&#8221; Head Coach Brad Smith said.  &#8220;There are a lot things we need to work on, but overall it was a good first meet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Mountaineers don&#039;t have to wait long for their next test.
