Grinev and fellow Russian\u00a0<strong>Danila Izotov\u00a0<\/strong>combined to lock teammate\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov\u00a0<\/strong>out of the semi-finals because of the two-per-country rule.<\/p>\n<p>Scotish hometown favorite\u00a0<strong>Duncan Scott\u00a0<\/strong>qualified fifth in 48.52, followed by Ukraine&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sergii Shevtsov\u00a0<\/strong>(48.62), Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Luca Dotto\u00a0<\/strong>(48.66) and Croatia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bruno Blaskovic\u00a0<\/strong>(48.800. Izotov missed the final by two-hundredths with his ninth-place time of 48.82.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"323676\"
