Both Sancov and Grant are looking for their first wins of the meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claire Tuggle\u00a0<\/strong>is looking for her third win of the meet after already capturing wins in the 400 IM and 400 free. Tuggle will be swimming at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/usa-swimming-names-junior-pan-pacs-roster-for-fiji-daniel-roy-and-emily-weiss-headline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Junior Pan Pacs<\/a>\u00a0later this month in Fiji. Also going on that trip is 200 breast top seed\u00a0<strong>AJ Pouch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annabel Crush\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Odgers\u00a0<\/strong>are also top seeds for tonight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2018-speedo-junior-nationals-day-4-prelims-heat-sheet-day-4-usa-age-group-2018-08-03.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heat Sheets<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stream<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/omegatiming.com\/Competition?id=0001120103ffffffffffffffffffffff&amp;day=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h3>\n<p>The top eight swimmers are separated by a little over a second in the final of the women&#8217;s 200 free.\u00a0<strong>Miranda Heckman\u00a0<\/strong>of the Pleasanton Seahawks is on top after the heats with her 2:01.30. She is ahead of a pair of 13-14 year olds with 14-year-old\u00a0<strong>Claire Tuggle\u00a0<\/strong>sitting in second at 2:01.44. Tuggle already has won the 400 free and 400 IM this week and will be looking to get her third win with the 200.<\/p>\n<p>Tuggle has been as fast as a 1:58 last week so she could have more in the tank. 13-year-old\u00a0<strong>Erin Gemmell\u00a0<\/strong>is the third seed at 2:01.50 as she now moves up to 13th all-time in the 13-14 NAG rankings for that event. Sancov is the top seed for the 200 free tonight with a 1:49.55 as he is over a second ahead of the rest of the field. Sancov is not far off the meet record of 1:48.64 held by\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>and he could challenge that tonight. Sancov will be a freshman at USC this fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julian Hill<\/strong> (1:50.87),\u00a0<strong>Owen Kao\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.09) and\u00a0<strong>Christian Sztolcman\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.12) all placed in the top four with their swims this morning and could very well be challenging for the silver medal as Sancov is that much better than everyone else.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pierce Dietze\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.38),\u00a0<strong>Skyler Cook-Weeks\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.42),\u00a0<strong>Jake Magahey\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.44) and\u00a0<strong>Jack Walker\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.74) round out the very competitive field.<\/p>\n<p>Last night in the 800 free relay, Sancov split a 1:49.59, the second fastest split behind\u00a0<strong>Carson Foster\u00a0<\/strong>in the field. Odgers swam a 2:30.66 to get the top seed just ahead of\u00a0<strong>Anna Keating\u00a0<\/strong>of Machine Aquatics in 2:30.72. Pouch posted a 2:13.08 to easily qualify as the top seed as he is almost two full seconds ahead of 100 champ\u00a0<strong>Joshua Matheny\u00a0<\/strong>(2:14.83). Matheny dropped 2.90 seconds from his seed time and could be in for another drop after he had a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/joshua-matheny-dropped-almost-three-full-seconds-in-100-breast-video-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">similar drop in his 100<\/a>\u00a0on the first night.<\/p>\n<p>Pouch will be headed to Junior Pan Pacs later this month in Fiji where he will swim with\u00a0<strong>Jake Foster\u00a0<\/strong>of the Mason Manta Rays. Crush crushed her 100 back with a 1:01.38 as she was the only swimmer under 1:02 in the prelims. Crush is well ahead of second place\u00a0<strong>Alexandra Crisera\u00a0<\/strong>of Beach Cities Swimming (1:02.15). Crisera\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/alexandra-crisera-benefits-from-racing-with-teammates-video-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">won the 200 back<\/a>\u00a0earlier in the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Every other girl in the A-Final for tonight posted a 1:02 in the heats. It is a very young field with three 15-year-olds and two 16-year-olds.\u00a0<strong>Abby Kapeller\u00a0<\/strong>(1:02.45) and\u00a0<strong>Jessica Davis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:02.56) were the other two 15-year-olds in the field. Grant swam a 55.78 to get the top seed ahead of\u00a0<strong>Carson Foster\u00a0<\/strong>(56.22). Grant had a lot of speed on the front end of his 200 back a couple nights ago and showed that speed this morning in the 100.
