Eastin revealed just days before the meet that she <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ella-eastin-hopes-to-push-through-mono-compete-for-national-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has been battling mono<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and after swimming prelims of the 200 butterfly has scratched all of her events to save up for a chance to make the team in the 200 IM. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Margalis will enter tonight as the top seed in the women\u2019s IM (2:10.13), while Eastin qualified in fifth (2:12.01) just .35 behind second seed <\/span><b>Evie Pfeifer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>Abrahm DeVine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will also be trying to make his way onto the men\u2019s Pan Pacs roster in the men\u2019s 200 IM after a strong 1:58.72 this morning. That puts him as the second seed behind <\/span><b>Chase Kalisz\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1:57.12. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Simone Manuel <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be back in the pool as the top seed for the women\u2019s 50 free tonight as well after winning the 100 earlier in the meet, while <\/span><b>Michael Andrew <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">continued his strong meet with another lifetime best of 21.64. That also puts Andrew as the top seed heading into tonight, which if he wins would be his third national title of the meet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The session will close with the women\u2019s 1500 and men\u2019s 800 freestyles. <\/span><b>Erica Sullivan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will have the middle lane for tonight\u2019s distance race as world record holder <\/span><b>Katie Ledecky <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has opted out of the swim, while 400 free champion <\/span><b>Zane Grothe <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">enters as the top seed for the men. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can see all of the entries for tonight\u2019s finals by clicking on the heat sheet link above, and you can follow along tonight with <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Swimming World\u2019s <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">live coverage.
