STOCKHOLM, Sweden, October 2. SWEDISH swimming have a long tradition of success and have an ambition of being one of the leading nations in Europe and the World. You will now have the opportunity of participating in this development. <\/p>\n

We are looking for two senior coaches for the Swedish Swimming Federation's NEC (National High Performance Center) at Eriksdalsbadet in Stockholm. The new NEC will start its activities in January 2013. <\/p>\n

We would like you to: <\/p>\n

Have good knowledge and experience of international swimming<\/p>\n

Have experience of coaching swimmers at top international senior level<\/p>\n

Have good knowledge of work physiology, sport science and biomechanics<\/p>\n

Have good planning and communication skills<\/p>\n

Have documented educational background within swimming<\/p>\n

Team, action- and goal-oriented personality<\/p>\n

Structured and analytical approach <\/p>\n

You will work closely with the other staff engaged with the NEC. Your tasks:<\/p>\n

Lead and develop the daily activities at NEC.<\/p>\n

Prepare short- and long-term planning and follow at the NEC.<\/p>\n

Coach swimmers at NEC and enroll them in competitions with the goal of helping them achieve an international swimming career.<\/p>\n

Participate as a coach at the Swedish Swimming Federation training camps.<\/p>\n

Participate as a coach at the international senior championship and related camps.<\/p>\n

Participate in the Swedish Swimming Federation's coaching conferences.<\/p>\n

Be responsible for NEC camps.<\/p>\n

Participate in the identification and recruitment of future NEC swimmers.<\/p>\n

NEC coaches report to the Sport Director. The positions are contractual employments. We would like you to start your employment no later than December 15, 2012.
