ON yesterday&#039;s show we told you about the meet taking place this weekend at the University of Florida, which the six Gator Olympians are competing in, their first racing opportunities since London. But so far, it&#039;s a Florida State senior Mark Weber who&#039;s putting up the impressive swim in today&#039;s prelims. Florida State tweeted today that Weber went 20.05 in the 50 free today, just four tenths off his lifetime best of 19.62.<\/p>\n<p>While the All-Florida Invite is likely going to be the big meet of the weekend, a few other schools are racing as well. The University of Texas men&#039;s team is holding its intrasquad meet, a chance for the national runners-up to get ready for the official start of their competition season in a couple of weeks. The British backstroker is looking ahead to an appearance in the Rio Olympics, which would be his third Olympics. Tancock owns the world record in the 50 long course backstroke, and could be a favorite to win his third-straight world title in that event next summer.
