The event is taking place at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>Eight Team USA athletes will participate in the clinic, leading exercises, giving motivational speeches and interacting with the kids, who will participate in basketball stations. The athletes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Katie Lou Samuelson<\/strong>, basketball, Youth Olympic Games gold medalist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carlin Isles<\/strong>, rugby, 2016 Olympian<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dana Vollmer<\/strong>, swimming, 7-time Olympic medalist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kendall Ellis<\/strong>, track and field, world champion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alex Bowen<\/strong>, water polo, 2016 Olympian<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ashleigh Johnson<\/strong>, water polo, Olympic champion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jesse Smith<\/strong>, water polo, Olympic silver medalist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maggie Steffens<\/strong>, water polo, 2-time Olympic champion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The youth clinic is being hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee and Terasaki Budokan of Little Tokyo Service Center, in conjunction with LA 2028, Japanese American Cultural &amp; Community Center, Kizuna and SoCal Supreme.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u2014 The above press release was posted by Swimming World in conjunction with the USOC<\/i><i>.
