The Canadian Swimming Trials concluded Sunday in Edmonton, Alberta.<\/p>\n

Top swimmers in the country are vying for spots on the Pan Pac national team, many in multiple events.<\/p>\n

Here is a run down of what happened Sunday:<\/p>\n

DAY 5 RESULTS<\/a><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 50 Free Multi-Class<\/h3>\n

Morgan Bird<\/strong> led off the final night of the Canadian Swimming Trials with a win in the women\u2019s 50 free multi-class event. She finished in 31.53.<\/p>\n

Abi Tripp<\/strong> was second in 32.96, followed by Arianna Hunsicker<\/strong> in 31.13.<\/p>\n

Multi-class events are not decided by time alone. The level of Paralympic class factors in.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 50 Free Multi-Class<\/h3>\n
Nicolas-Guy Turbide<\/strong> opened the men\u2019s competition with a 50 free victory in the multi-class event. He finished in 25.41.<\/p>\n
Alexander Elliot<\/strong> was second in 26.47, while Matthew Cabraja<\/strong> was third in 29.45.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n
Kelsey Wog<\/strong> came into the 200 breast finals three seconds ahead of the rest of the field. The finals were much closer, though Wog managed to come away with the victory.<\/p>\n
Wog finished in 2:23.83, finishing nearly a second ahead of Kierra Smith<\/strong>. Faith Knelsen<\/strong>, a 16-year-old, finished third at 2:27.70 to touch out Sydney Pickrem<\/strong>, who finished fourth in 2:27.88.<\/p>\n

In one of the closest races of the meet, three swimmers were within a touch of winning the 200 breast.<\/p>\n
Eli Wall<\/strong> hung on for victory, dropping three seconds from his prelims time to finish in 2:14.17.<\/p>\n
James Guest<\/strong> was just behind, finishing in 2:14.39. Meanwhile, Jonathan Naisby<\/strong> was within reach as well, finishing third in 2:14.91.<\/p>\n
Connor Isings<\/strong> was disqualified.<\/p>\n
