IT is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Ryan Lochte seems to be flattered that he was lampooned on Saturday&#039;s season premiere of &#8220;Saturday Night Live.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In a sketch on the regular fake news &#8220;Weekend Update&#8221; part of the show, host Seth MacFarlane played a version of Lochte, dressed in an NBC Olympics tracksuit and wearing a couple of medals that had no resemblance to any of the London 2012 medals handed out. But it wasn&#039;t the costume that was the focus of the parody. MacFarlane portrayed Lochte as one who didn&#039;t know how to count or pronounce such television shows as &#8220;Go On&#8221; (&#8220;Lochte&#8221; pronounced it as &#8220;Goon.&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><b>Video of the &#8220;Weekend Update&#8221; sketch:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulu.com\/embed.html?eid=yl6egc7cohgkghxricpxlq\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Today in an article posted on the celebrity news website celebuzz.com, Lochte said &#8220;Well I gotta admit that was a pretty harsh one, but it&#039;s cool to have Seth parody me,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think he pegged me wrong, but when I heard he did a skit I knew I was in for it!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lochte seemed to be in good spirits about the sketch as he referenced the &#8220;Goon&#8221; joke in the article: &#8220;It&#039;s all in fun and of course if I&#039;m talked about on &#8220;SNL&#8221; I know they are gonna get me &#039;Go-od,&#039;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lochte has filmed cameos for upcoming episodes of the TV shows &#8220;90210&#8221; and &#8220;30 Rock,&#8221; but it&#039;s not known if Lochte has been approached to <a href=http:\/\/www.nbc.com\/saturday-night-live\/video\/michael-phelps-monologue\/1385210 target=\"_blank\">follow Michael Phelps&#039; footsteps<\/a> and host the show.<\/p>\n<p><a href=http:\/\/www.celebuzz.com\/2012-09-17\/ryan-lochte-responds-to-seth-macfarlanes-snl-impression-he-pegged-me-wrong-exclusive\/ target=\"_blank\">Full text of Celebuzz article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX, Arizona, September 17.
