Among the double winners of the meet, Notre Dame swimmer\u00a0<\/span>Zach Yeadon<\/b> of the Alamo Area Aquatic Association completed a double distance victory tonight by winning the 1500 free, just after winning the 400 free yesterday night. The concluding finals session at the Austin Speedo Sectionals also featured Longhorn Aquatics sweeping the 50 free with <\/span>Anelise Diener <\/b>and <\/span>Jacob Huerta<\/b> taking the sprint titles.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the final team rankings, Longhorn Aquatics swept both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s team scores with 572 points and 423 points, respectively. Cumulatively, Longhorn Aquatics was just shy of scoring 1,000 points, totaling 995 points. Aggie Swim Club (556 points) and Nitro Swimming (520.5 points) took top three in the combined team rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 IM<\/b><\/h3>\n

Tiger\u2019s <\/span>Nicole Rozier <\/b>took the title in the first final of the night at 2:17.76. Unattached <\/span>Ema Rajic<\/b> came in second at<\/span> 2:19.52. Nitro\u2019s <\/span>Brittany Thompson <\/b>(2:20.67) took third, just out-touching Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Ashley Pollok<\/b> (2:20.68) by one one-hundredth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unattached <\/span>Catriona Macgregor <\/b>(2:21.61), Tiger\u2019s <\/span>Lauren Thompson<\/b> (2:22.62), Unattached <\/span>Maxine Wolters <\/b>(2:22.94), and Houston\u2019s <\/span>Laura Laderoute<\/b> (2:24.99) rounded out the top eight.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 200 IM<\/b><\/h3>\n

Longhorn Aquatics once again went a 1-2 finish with <\/span>Colter Carman <\/b>(2:04.08) taking the win and teammate <\/span>Mason Tenney<\/b> (2:04.51) finishing shortly after. Midland\u2019s <\/span>Braden Vines <\/b>(2:06.46) finished in third place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Capping off the championship final were unattached <\/span>Joshua Artmann <\/b>(2:07.18), Nitro\u2019s <\/span>Vincent Ribeiro<\/b> (2:08.29), Nitro\u2019s <\/span>Michael Shay<\/b> (2:09.73), Cypress Fairbank\u2019s <\/span>Munzer Kabbara <\/b>(2:10.85), and North Texas\u2019s <\/span>David Hallaron<\/b> (2:12.51).<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 800 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n

Olivia Johnson<\/b>, swimming unattached for Tulane Aquatics, won the event at 8:53.89. Also breaking nine minutes was <\/span>Lauren Case<\/b> of Longhorn Aquatics at 8:55.95. Finishing off the \u00a0top three finish was unattached <\/span>Logan Shiller <\/b>at 9:01.59.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also scoring top eight overall were Austin\u2019s <\/span>Rylie Lopez <\/b>(9:02.63), Cypress Fairbank\u2019s <\/span>Carson Kaufmann <\/b>(9:02.99), Lost Creek\u2019s <\/span>Morgan Johnson <\/b>(9:04.81), and Rice\u2019s <\/span>Claire Therien <\/b>(9:05.04) and <\/span>Sarah Nowaski<\/b> (9:10.57).<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 1500 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n

Alamo\u2019s Yeadon won the longest event of the meet at 15:32.74. Taking top three and dipping under the 16-minute mark were Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Christopher Yeager <\/b>(15:45.63) and fellow Alamo <\/span>David Forsyth<\/b> (15:47.68). <\/span><\/p>\n

Making the top eight were Nitro\u2019s <\/span>Reilly Gilbert<\/b> (16:11.24), Austin\u2019s <\/span>Clark Wakeland<\/b> (16:20.34), Tiger\u2019s <\/span>Mason Nyboer<\/b> (16:21.26), Austin\u2019s <\/span>Gavin Moak<\/b> (16:23.14), and Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Daniel Henry<\/b> (16:25.79). <\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 50 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n

Diener of Longhorn Aquatics took the win as the only swimmer under 26 seconds at 25.88. Rounding out the top three were Western Hills\u2019s <\/span>Emma Wheal <\/b>(26.04) and Tiger\u2019s <\/span>Haylee Knight <\/b>(26.14). <\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Jordan Wheeler <\/b>(26.17), Unattached <\/span>Claire Adams <\/b>(26.21), Lakeside\u2019s <\/span>Riley Francis <\/b>and unattached <\/span>Ema Rajic <\/b>(26.53), and Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Mary Schneider <\/b>(26.60) were also top eight finishers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 50 Free<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the final individual event of the evening, Longhorn\u2019s Huerta took first with a time of 23.20.<\/span> Austin\u2019s <\/span>Matthew Willenbring <\/b>(23.27) and unattached <\/span>Jeremy Nichols <\/b>(23.50) were in the top three as well.<\/span> \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b>Finishing shortly after were Longhorn\u2019s <\/span>Luke Bowman <\/b>(23.54), Tiger\u2019s <\/span>Matthew Klotz <\/b>(23.56), Dads\u2019 <\/span>Caleb Duncan <\/b>(23.69), and Eagle\u2019s <\/span>Steven Richardson <\/b>and Bridge Bats\u2019 <\/span>Jack Armstrong<\/b> (23.90).<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 400 Medley Relay<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Rockwall ladies of <\/span>Janelle Hummingbird<\/b> (1:05.73), <\/span>Alaya Smith<\/b> (1:12.82), <\/span>Amelia Warren<\/b> (1:03.69), and <\/span>Emma Hultquist<\/b> (57.42) took the medley relay win at 4:19.66.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking second and third place were the Nitro Swimming relay (4:20.13) and Austin Trinity relay (4:23.14).<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 400 Medley Relay<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the last event of the meet, <\/span>Miguel Velasquez<\/b> (57.93), <\/span>Adam Fusti-Molnar<\/b> (1:05.89), <\/span>Samuel Artmann<\/b> (55.15), and Wakeland (52.48) of Austin Swim Club won with a time of 3:51.45.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finishing top three were the squads of Nitro Swimming (3:53.15) and Alamo (3:57.85).<\/span><\/p>\n
