THE college swimming season is kicking into full gear. Swimmers are back on campus and training has started across the United States. Six of the female swimmers you will see this season won Olympic medals, and we wanted to know which of them you are most excited to follow this season. Your choices are Florida junior Elizabeth Beisel, the silver medalist in the 400 IM and 200 back; UC-Berkeley freshman Rachel Bootsma, who won gold as a prelim swimmer in the medley relay; Texas A&#038;M junior Breeja Larson, also a gold medalist who swam on the prelim medley relay squad; UC-Berkeley junior Caitlin Leverenz, the bronze medalist in the 200 IM; Georgia senior Allison Schmitt, who won five medals in London including gold in the 200 free; or Georgia junior Shannon Vreeland, who took gold in the 800 free relay. Go to <a href=http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/poll target=\"_blank\">swimmingworldmagazine.com\/poll<\/a> and place your vote now.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Lochte has publicly expressed interest in participating in the reality TV shows &#8220;Dancing With the Stars&#8221; and\/or &#8220;The Bachelor.&#8221; We wanted to know which show swimming fans thought would be the best fit for Lochte. By a slim margin, voters picked &#8220;The Bachelor&#8221; over &#8220;Dancing With the Stars,&#8221; but it wasn&#039;t the show voters most thought Lochte should appear in soon. Lochte hasn&#039;t mentioned an interest in &#8220;The Amazing Race,&#8221; but we added that option into the poll to see what public interest was. The majority of voters picked this option with 35.44 percent, on the provision that he partner with Michael Phelps on the show. The voters also spoke up about their desire to not see Lochte on any reality show, and 20.25 percent of voters picked this option. Well back in the voting was &#8220;Survivor,&#8221; another show we added to the poll.
