The USA TYR Pro Swim Series meet in Columbus concluded with a Sunday finals session packed with strong performances by some of the best swimmers in the country.<\/p>\n

Chase Kalisz<\/strong> was a double winner, while Lilly King<\/strong> and Asia Seidt<\/strong> also completed doubles. Michael Andrew won the closest race of the meet.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n

Kelsi Dahlia<\/strong> continued her strong performance in Columbus by winning the 200 fly. She finished in 2:09.23, good enough to best the field by more than three seconds.<\/p>\n

Longhorn Aquatic\u2019s Remedy Rule<\/strong> took second at 2:12.68, followed by Kentucky Aquatic\u2019s Lauren Edelman.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chase Kalisz<\/strong> finished nearly three seconds ahead of the field to win the 200 fly. He used a strong finish to cruise into the wall at 1:56.90.<\/p>\n
Louisville\u2019s Zach Harting<\/strong> finished second in 1:59.40, followed by Louisville\u2019s Nicholas Albiero<\/strong> (1:59.96).<\/p>\n
Zane Grothe<\/strong>, making an appearance in a non-distance event, finished eighth in 2:02.54.<\/p>\n

In one of the closest events of the meet, Michael Andrew<\/strong> held off a surging Devon Nowicki<\/strong> to win the 100 breast.<\/p>\n
Andrew, swimming for Race Pace Club, trailed Nowicki by four hundredths of a second at the turn but hung on to win in 59.79.<\/p>\n
Nowicki, from Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics, finished just behind in 1:00.00.<\/p>\n
Another teen phenom, Reece Whitley<\/strong>, finished third in 1:00.78.<\/p>\n
NCAA champion Ian Finnerty<\/strong> from Indiana was seventh at 1:03.29.<\/p>\n

Club Wolverine\u2019s Ali DeLoof<\/strong> held off Kentucky\u2019s Asia Seidt<\/strong> to win the 100 backstroke.<\/p>\n
DeLoof finished in 1:00.38, using her strong start to hang on. Seidt was a half-second faster on the back half but it wasn\u2019t quite enough, finishing in 1:00.57.<\/p>\n
Phoenix Swim Club\u2019s Emi Moronuki<\/strong> was third (1:00.65), followed by Kentucky\u2019s Bridgette Alexander<\/strong> (1:01.70).<\/p>\n
Kentucky had three in the final as Ali Galyer<\/strong> finished seventh in 1:02.33.<\/p>\n

He held off Wolfpack Elite\u2019s Justin Ress<\/strong>, who finished in 53.30 in a race that was close the entire time.<\/p>\n
Irie\u2019s time is the fourth fastest in the world this year, while Ress moved into the top 10 in the seventh spot.<\/p>\n
Gregory Tarasevich<\/strong> of Cardinal Aquatics was third in 54.22, followed by Louisville\u2019s Nicholas Albiero<\/strong> in 55.61.<\/p>\n

Asia Seidt<\/strong>, just 15 minutes removed from taking second in the 100 back, surged to victory in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n
The Kentucky swimmer finished 2:12.87, holding off Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> (2:12.87) of Longhorn Aquatic.<\/p>\n
A group of teens fared well. In addition to 19-year-old Pfeifer, 16-year-old Katherine Douglass<\/strong> was third in 2:14.08). Kristen Romano<\/strong>, 18, of Ohio State was fifth it 2:15.83 and Kathryn Ackerman<\/strong>, 16, of Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics was sixth in 2:15.92.<\/p>\n
They finished ahead of veterans Miranda Tucker<\/strong> (2:17.56) and Lilly King<\/strong> (2:20.88), both coming off swimming the 100 breast 20 minutes prior. They finished seventh and eighth, respectively.<\/p>\n
