PHOENIX, Arizona, August 14. APPARENTLY Ryan Lochte's Funny or Die videos were a good audition, as the Olympian has booked an appearance on the popular primetime drama 90210<\/i>, slated to air in October.<\/p>\n

According to a story on Entertainment Weekly's website, Lochte will play a guest at a hotel where series characters Naomi and Max are going to mend their relationship. The article does not mention when the cameo appearance will be filmed, but says the show will air Oct. 29. The new season of 90210<\/i> is set to begin Oct. 8.<\/p>\n

Lochte is far from the first swimming Olympian to translate his success into acting work. Johnny Weismuller, Buster Crabbe, Steve Lundquist and more found the acting bug, though they all did so after retiring from the sport.<\/p>\n
