The final preliminary session of the 2018 Australian Pan Pac Trials has concluded and many of Australia’s favorite stars, like\u00a0Cate Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Minna Atherton<\/strong>, claiming top seeds.<\/p>\n

Men’s 100 Free MC<\/h3>\n

Rowan<\/strong>\u00a0Crothers<\/strong> picked up the top seed in the men’s 100 free multi-class, posting a top qualifying time of 53.00.\u00a0Daniel Fox<\/strong> grabbed second with a 53.79, followed by\u00a0Jack Ireland’s<\/strong> 54.82.<\/p>\n

Veteran sprinter\u00a0Cate Campbell<\/strong> delivered the top seed in the women’s 50 free and slipped beneath the Pan Pacific Trials qualifying time while doing so. The Australian, All-Comers, and Commonwealth record holder posted a 24.54 for the top seed, closely followed by 19-year-old\u00a0Shayna Jack<\/strong> and her time of 24.67. They were the only two swimmers to post sub-25 second swims.<\/p>\n
Holly Barratt<\/strong> posted a third-place qualifying time of 25.61.<\/p>\n
