CHINA&#039;s Wu Minxia remained on course of tying the record for most Olympic medals at six after topping qualifying in the women&#039;s three-meter springboard preliminary rounds.<\/p>\n<p>Wu was the top of 18 semifinal qualifiers with 387.95 points, nearly 25 points ahead of synchro partner He Zi&#039;s 363.85-point tally.  Wu, who won the three-meter synchro with He on the opening day of competition, is just one medal away from tying Guo Jingjing as the most-decorated diver in Olympic history with six medals.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#039;s Tania Cagnotto qualified third with 349.80 points, and is gunning for her first Olympic medal in her fourth career try.  Cagnotto, 27, is coached by her father Giorgio, who won four medals in the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games. <\/p>\n<p>Canadian teammates Jennifer Abel (344.15) and Emilie Heymans (337.20) qualified fourth and sixth, while USA&#039;s Christina Loukas took seventh with 330.45 points and teammate Cassidy Krug took 10th with 320.10 points.  Australia&#039;s Sharleen Stratton earned fifth with 342.70 points.  Heymans, on Sunday, became the first diver to medal at four consecutive Games with a bronze with Abel in the three-meter synchro event. <\/p>\n<p>China has won the first four diving events already, and is on pace for an unprecedented eight-event sweep.
