Among the victors for night two were Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Grant Shoults\u00a0<\/strong>and international stars\u00a0<strong>Li Bingjie, Kierra Smith<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n<p>Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> flew to victory in the 200 fly finals, posting a time of 2:09.82.<\/p>\n<p>BREA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justina Kozan<\/strong> might have been the youngest in the field at 14, but she didn&#8217;t let that stop her from securing second place over many athletes older than her. Kozan powered to a 2:12.35, touching just ahead of\u00a0Olympian\u00a0<strong>Haley Anderson&#8217;s<\/strong> 2:12.39.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Brendan Meyer<\/strong> of CLPR turned in the only sub-two minute swim of the men&#8217;s races, stopping the clock at a 1:59.36.<\/p>\n<p>Irvine Novaquatics&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Andrew Koustik<\/strong> touched second overall with a time of 2:00.64, followed by Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> and his time of 2:00.81.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Free<\/h3>\n<p>Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie McLaughlin<\/strong> and China&#8217;s <strong>Yang\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Junxuan<\/strong>\u00a0held a close race throughout the 100 free, but it was McLauglin who touched first with a time of 54.45. Yang was a close second with a time of 54.57.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese national teammate\u00a0<strong>Yanhan Al<\/strong> took third with a time of 55.38.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Free<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vlad Morozov<\/strong> sprinted to the top of the podium in the men&#8217;s 100 free, posting the only 48-second swim. Morozov has been faster this calendar year, with his world leading time sitting at a 47.75 from the Russian National Championships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Chadwick<\/strong> posted a close second with a time of 49.01, while\u00a0<strong>Blake Pieroni<\/strong> turned in a 49.51 for third.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n<p>Canadian Olympian\u00a0<strong>Kierra Smith<\/strong> powered to a strong victory in the women&#8217;s 200 breast, delivering a 2:25.93 for the win. Smith&#8217;s fastest time for 2018 is a 2:23.62 from the 2018 Commonwealth Games, which currently ranks her seventh in the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Riley Scott<\/strong> of MP grabbed second overall with a time of 2:28.14, just ahead of New York Athletic Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Breeja Larson<\/strong> and her time of 2:28.64.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n<p>Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Conner McHugh<\/strong> and GTAC&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sam Iida<\/strong> raced to a tight finish, with a shy .02 seconds separating their final times. McHugh turned up the heat in the final 50 meters, splitting a 35.08 over Iida&#8217;s 35.37 to finish with a time of 2:16.13 over Iida&#8217;s 2:16.15.<\/p>\n<p>KISU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jaren LeFranc<\/strong> also posted a 2:16 time, turning in a 2:16.55 for third.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400 Free<\/h3>\n<p>Chinese teen phenomenon\u00a0<strong>Li Bingjie<\/strong> collected her second victory in two days, powering ahead of the competition to a final time of 4:06.26. Li&#8217;s best time of 2018 stands at a 4:05.37 from the Chinese National Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Veteran distance swimmer\u00a0<strong>Haley Anderson<\/strong> grabbed her second medal of the day with a time of 4:09.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhang Ke<\/strong> of China grabbed third with a time of 4:10.89.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 Free<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> of Stanford added a gold medal from the 400 free to his collection, finishing more than two seconds ahead of the competition with a time of 3:51.82.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Qiu Ziao<\/strong>, last night&#8217;s 1500 free victor, finished second overall with a time of 3:54.27, followed closely by Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>True Sweetser<\/strong> and his time of 3:54.35.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50 Back<\/h3>\n<p>Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tevyn Waddell<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 50 back shootout with a final time of 28.90, followed closely by Trojan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anika Apostalon&#8217;s<\/strong> 28.99.<\/p>\n<p>PSC&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emi Moronuki<\/strong> delivered a third place finish of 29.18.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50 Back<\/h3>\n<p>Trojan teammates\u00a0<strong>Siman Sudartawa<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> and <strong>Luca Spinazzola<\/strong>\u00a0claimed the top three podium spots in the men&#8217;s 50 back shootout.
