ON the same night that Missy Franklin just became an Olympic gold medalist with her 100-meter backstroke triumph at the 2012 London Olympics, <i>Swimming World<\/i> is proud to announce that Franklin earned the High School Female of the Year award. Meanwhile, four swimmers tied for third place in the female competition.
