The final day of the meet will also feature the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 400 IM and 100 free, which kick off at 11:00am EST, and finals of the 100 free at 1:15pm EST. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NC State\u2019s <\/span><b>Ariel Finke <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">took the win in the women\u2019s 1500 free as the only competitor under 17:00 in the finals. Joining her on the podium was <\/span><b>Madison Homovich <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(17:00.28) and <\/span><b>Anna Jahns <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(17:01.45). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Walker Higgins <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won the men\u2019s 800 free by 4 seconds in 8:17.20. He was followed by <\/span><b>Joshua Danhauser <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(8:21.98) and <\/span><b>Daniel Erhlemeyer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(8:26.92).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving to the 100 free in the late morning session, NC State\u2019s <\/span><b>Alexia Zevnik <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">earned the top seed out of the heats with a 55.49, the only woman in the field to swim under 56 seconds. More than a second behind her in second was <\/span><b>Abigail Dolan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in 56.63, who was followed closely by <\/span><b>Megan Moroney <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(56.69) and local SwimMac star <\/span><b>Madison Kennedy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(56.74). Zevnik would skip the final of the event, with Dolan dropping 3-tenths from her prelims time to win in 56.30.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the men\u2019s event, <\/span><b>Aaron Greenberg <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">snuck by to grab the top seed out of prelims, just sneaking by <\/span><b>Ryan Baker <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50.94 to 50.96. NC State\u2019s <\/span><b>Coleman Stewart <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was just .01 back from second place in 50.97, about half a second ahead of teammate <\/span><b>Noah Hensley <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(51.53) to set up for what is sure to be a tight final heat later today. Baker ended up winning the final of the event in 51.18, just off of his prelims time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 400 IM, <b>Makayla Sargent <\/b>won the event by more than four seconds with her time of 4:48.10. In second was <b>Emily Barksdale <\/b>(4:52.48) and in third was <b>Carly Cummings <\/b>(4:53.85).
