The relays were the beginning of a multi-day event in the Cayman Islands, featuring swim clinics and more open water races.<\/p>\n<p>A total of six teams participated in the junior 2.5K relay, with Peru&#8217;s A team taking home the victory. The team of\u00a0<strong>A. Castro<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>A. Serida, G. Ccollcca,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>N. Rojas<\/strong> delivered a combined time of 33:08.7 for the gold.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing second in the junior relay race was the A Team from the Cayman Islands. Team members\u00a0<strong>J. Bodden, E. Sinclair, L. Henry,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>K. Lockwood<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>A.
