NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The Florida State University Seminoles recently received a verbal commitment from Estonia’s\u00a0Kertu Alnek<\/strong>. She will join the women’s team this fall as a member of the Class of 2022.<\/p>\n

When asked about why she chose FSU, Alnek explained,<\/p>\n

“FSU was the best choice for me. They have a really strong class coming in and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I’m very excited to start a new chapter in my life as a Seminole!”\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The young Estonian has represented her country at a multitude of high-caliber events, including the 2016 SC World Championships, 2017 European Championships, 2017 SC European Championships, and qualified for the semi-finals five times at the 2014-16 European Junior Championships. While in Estonia she trains with Coach\u00a0Riho Aljand<\/strong> and the Ujumise Spordiklubi Club.<\/p>\n
