Sunday evening after the meet, she recapped the three days.<\/p>\n<p>Manuel explained how she handled the 50 free shoot-out format and how she warmed up differently than she typically does for a 50 free, and she also discussed her transition to a professional career and how she hopes to impact more than just African American swimmers. Manuel also discussed racing\u00a0<strong>Penny Oleksiak<\/strong>, with whom she shared the 100 free Olympic gold in 2012, and she explained how she handles her hair at swim meets.<\/p>\n<div
