Ledecky won the race in 8:11.08.<\/p>\n<p>Ledecky, who announced she signed with TYR earlier this week, took the early lead and coasted. Her time was seven seconds slower than her seed time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leah Smith<\/strong> was second at 8:26.01, followed by <strong>Megan Byrnes<\/strong> (8:31.58), <strong>Ashley Neidigh<\/strong> (8:41.84),<strong> Leah Stevens (<\/strong>8:43.28), <strong>Olivia<\/strong> <strong>Anderson<\/strong> (8:48.20), <strong>Nicole Oliva<\/strong> (8:48.62) and <strong>Ayumi Macias
