Pearl delivered a time of 4:45.81 to cut more than nine seconds off her prelims time of 4:54.96.<\/p>\n<p>Gator Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Savanna Faulconer<\/strong> turned in a close second-place finish of 4:46.00, while\u00a0Gamecock&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Barksdale<\/strong> grabbed third overall with a 4:48.90.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maddie Homovich<\/strong>, the top seed going into finals, slipped to fourth with a 4:49.12, still improving upon her prelims time of 4:50.14.
