The San Ramon Valley boys totaled 327 points to finish well ahead of Campolindo with 275.<\/p>\n<h2>Girls<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Zoie Hartman\u00a0<\/strong>was the star for Monte Vista. The junior won the 200 IM in 1:57.37 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.40. She split a 27.12 on the breaststroke leg of the team&#8217;s 200 medley relay. She teamed up with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/californians-emma-smethurst-abriana-howard-give-verbal-commitments-to-ucla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Abriana Howard<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Makenna Turner<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Gillian Flath\u00a0<\/strong>as the quartet dominated in 1:41.24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kendall Johannson<\/strong>, Flath,\u00a0<strong>Jenna Seaman<\/strong>, and Hartman won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:33.80. Miramonte&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katrina Drake<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Eloise Engs<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Margaux McDonald<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Sophia Kosturos\u00a0<\/strong>won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:25.55 ahead of Johansson, Seaman, Turner, and Howard with a 3:28.56. Kosturos clocked a 23.19 to win the 50 freestyle and 50.06 for 100 freestyle gold, just edging Dublin freshman <strong>Claire Suen\u00a0<\/strong>(50.35).<\/p>\n<p>Granada&#8217;s junior\u00a0<strong>Miranda Heckman\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the 200 freestyle in 1:47.38. Turner (1:50.10) was runner up. Turner moved up to the top of the podium in the 100 fly, finishing in 53.94. Heckman, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/world-juniors-team-member-miranda-heckman-verbally-commits-to-texas-longhorns-class-of-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Texas commit<\/a>, also won the 500 freestyle, touching in 4:45.37.<\/p>\n<h2>Boys<\/h2>\n<p>Northgate&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexei Sancov\u00a0<\/strong>turned heads in the meet&#8217;s first individual event, swimming a 1:33.70 in the 200 freestyle, tying\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong>&#8216;s meet record in the process. Foothill junior\u00a0<strong>Jonah Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.78) edged teammate\u00a0<strong>Calvin David\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.89) for second.<\/p>\n<p>David was second again in the 500, touching in 4:21.73 while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/world-junior-record-holder-alexei-sancov-verbally-commits-to-usc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USC bound Sancov<\/a> was first to the wall in 4:20.10, slower than his meet record of 4:17.17 set in prelims.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper later made his own mark on the record board, blasting a 46.33 to win the 100 backstroke and dip under his own meet record mark, a 46.73 set in prelims.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 IM meet record came down at the hands of Amador Valley senior\u00a0<strong>Chris Jhong<\/strong> who touched in 1:45.51. He set the record in prelims with a 1:46.19. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Cole Reznick\u00a0<\/strong>touched second (1:50.12).<\/p>\n<p>Sam Ramon Valley senior\u00a0<strong>Spencer Daily\u00a0<\/strong>won the 50 freestyle (20.43) while Clayton Valley junior\u00a0<strong>Niklas Weigelt\u00a0<\/strong>(45.31) took the 100.<\/p>\n<p>Another senior won an event when De La Salle&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daniel O&#8217;Connel\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 47.74 in the 100 butterfly.
