NEW COMMIT: Parker Timken\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal commitment to swim for NC State University beginning in the fall of 2019. Timken will make the move to Raleigh from Canton, Ohio where she is wrapping up her junior year at North Canton Hoover.<\/p>\n

A two time Ohio High School Division 1 state champion, Timken is primarily a sprint freestyler. She was the anchor for her team’s state record holding 200 freestyle relay, and state championship winning 400 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n

Timken does her club swimming with Canton City Schools, where she is an NCSA Junior National Championship C finalist. She’s just a half second outside ACC scoring in both the 50 and 100 freestyles, with a year still left in her high school career.<\/p>\n
