This year\u2019s action-packed sequel was even more thrilling!<\/p>\n<p>As difficult as it might be to imagine, this year\u2019s victory at the women\u2019s NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships, March 14-17, was even more dominant, as the Cardinal scored 593 points to win by more than 200.<\/p>\n<p>Cal finished second for the second year in a row at 373, led by last year\u2019s NCAA Swimmer of the Meet <strong>Kathleen Baker\u2019s<\/strong> NCAA\/American\/U.S.Open record in the 200 yard backstroke (1:47.30). Texas A&amp;M, led by a superb group of breaststrokers, finished third (like Cal, for the second straight year) with 299 points.
