{"id":306938,"date":"2018-04-22T11:24:39","date_gmt":"2018-04-22T18:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=306938"},"modified":"2018-04-22T11:24:39","modified_gmt":"2018-04-22T18:24:39","slug":"morozov-efimova-kameneva-win-on-night-3-of-russian-nationals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/morozov-efimova-kameneva-win-on-night-3-of-russian-nationals\/","title":{"rendered":"Morozov, Efimova, Kameneva Win on Night 3 of Russian Nationals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Day three of the 2018 Russian Swimming Championships was another fast one.<\/p>\n<p>The meet in Moscow will serve as the selection meet for this year\u2019s European Championships which will be held August 3-12 in Glasgow, Scotland.<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s 100 Free<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> continued to impress, winning the 100 free in 47.75.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Isotov<\/strong> took second in 48.31, followed by <strong>Vladislav Grinev<\/strong> (46.86).<\/p>\n<h3>Women\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h3>\n<p>There was no surprise in the 100 breast either with <strong>Yulia Efimova<\/strong> winning in 1:06.48, nearly a second ahead of <strong>Daria Chikunova<\/strong> (1:07.62) and <strong>Vitalina Simonov<\/strong> (1:07.69).<\/p>\n<h3>Women\u2019s 50 Back<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Maria Kameneva<\/strong> won titles on back-to-back days as she followed up her 50 free title by winning the 50 back in 27.84.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Fesikova<\/strong> took second in27.91, followed by 16-year-old<strong> Daria Vaskina<\/strong> (28.08), setting an age-group mark.<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Alexander Kudashev<\/strong> won the 200 fly in 1:57.54, holding off <strong>Daniel Pakhomov<\/strong> (1:57.63) and <strong>Alexander<\/strong> <strong>Arrival<\/strong> (1:57.59) in an close finish to conclude the night\u2019s individual finals.<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s 4&#215;200 Free Relay<\/h3>\n<p>Moscow\u2019s <strong>Mikhail Dovhalyuk, Nikolay Snegirev, Peter Zhyharev<\/strong> and <strong>Artem Lobozov<\/strong> won\u2019t he 4&#215;200 free relay in 7:15.45.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2019s finals will include the men\u2019s 100 back, 200 breast and 200 IM as well as the women\u2019s 200 fly and 200 free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Day three of the 2018 Russian Swimming Championships was another fast one.
