The meet serves as the country\u2019s qualifier for the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, the 2018 South American Swimming Championships, 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second night of finals at the 2018 Brazil Trophy included finals of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 200 IM, the women\u2019s 1500 free, the men\u2019s 800 free, and the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 200 back and 800 free relays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Gabrielle Roncatto <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">opened the second night of competition at the 2018 Brazil Trophy with a win in the women\u2019s 200 IM (2:15.45), while <\/span><b>Vini Lanza <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">added his second individual win of the meet in the men\u2019s event with a 1:58.10. <\/span><b>Viviane Jungblut <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won the women\u2019s 1500 free (16:28.56), while <\/span><b>Guilherme Costa <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">broke Brazilian record in the men\u2019s 800 free in 7:52.54. Notably, second place <\/span><b>Miguel Valente <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was also just under Costa\u2019s old Brazilian record. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Andrea Berrino <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won a tight women\u2019s 200 backstroke final, touching first by .15 in 2:13.20, just ahead of <\/span><b>Fernanda Goeij<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2:13.35) and <\/span><b>Kira Toussaint<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2:13.78). <\/span><b>Leonardo de Deus <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won the men\u2019s 200 back in 1:59.27, giving him his 18th career win at this meet to surpass <\/span><b>Cesar Cielo <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as the Brazilian with the most wins of all-time. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably <\/span><b>Fernando Scheffer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who won the 400 free in a Brazil record to open the meet, split a 1:44.84 on the third leg of the winning 800 free relay.
