The 2018 Chinese Championships and Asian Games Selection meet continue in Shanxi, China this week, with national record holder <\/span>Li Zhuhao <\/b>claiming his third individual title of the meet to sweep the butterfly events. <\/span><\/p>\n

Li touched first in the 50 butterfly in 23.55 to add to his titles in the 100 (51.77) and 200 (1:55.66) from earlier in the meet. <\/span>Xu Jiayu<\/b>, the World champion in the 100 back and winner of that same event earlier in the meet, also took the 200 back in 1:55.43. <\/span><\/p>\n

Olympian <\/span>Sun Yang <\/b>just missed a fourth individual title in the 100 free when he tied for third with <\/span>Yang Jintong <\/b>in 49.48. That was just a tenth behind winner <\/span>Hou Yujie <\/b>(49.37). Sun has already won the 200, 400, and 800 freestyles at this meet and is scheduled to swim the mile on the final day. <\/span><\/p>\n

15 year-old <\/span>Wang Jianjiahe<\/b>, the winner of the 1500 free on the first day of the meet, came away with another win in the 800 after going head to head win <\/span>Li Bingjie <\/b>once again. Wang once again won by a healthy margin, taking the race in 8:22.65 over Li who was once again runner-up. You can see the top three finishers from each of the events on the fifth day of the meet below:<\/span><\/p>\n
